Welcome parents to our class website! I am looking forward to the year ahead of us! I can't wait to get to know all of your kids. I will update this website as the year goes on to keep you informed on how your student is doing in class and what we are up to! There is a form under the link "Parents" for you to fill out so that I can get to know your child a little bit before school begins. Please take the time to fill it out, it shouldn't take more then 10 minutes. Thank you :) Also, under the link students you will see a link called "fun websites", I have found 10 websites that are kid approved that your kids can spend time on at home if you choose so. Welcome to My Blog

Welcome to our first grade class! My name is Miss Janssen and I will be your first grade teacher this year! I currently go to NDSU and I am studying Elementary Education. I run both Track and Cross Country for the bison. My hobbies include going to the lake, spending time with my friends and family, hiking, skiing, and doing pretty much anything outdoors. I am originally from Moorhead Minnesota where I grew up with my two parents and my sister Jayda. The picture on the bottom right is a picture of my family. We also have two pet cats named Shadow and Lola. The picture on the right is a picture of me in Colorado this past summer hiking Conundrum Mountain. I am excited for the school year ahead and can't wait to meet all of you! :) Lets have a great year!
